The Borough of Lewistown has reinstated regular street sweeping and maintenance parking regulations as of April 18, 2023.

Chestnut Street – Five Points to Logan Street, Market Street – Grand Street to Five Points, Valley Street – Five Points to Third Street, Academy Hill – Entire Length, are the only exceptions that are maintained and enforced all year.

Parking Tickets can be paid by deposit in one of three yellow boxes located at the parking lots and Borough Hall.  Please be sure that if you are paying by cash, to place the money in an envelope along with your ticket.

Parking Tickets can be paid in person at 2 East Third Street-Borough Hall on the first floor Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Parking Permits can be obtained at Borough Hall.

Student Parking Permits can also be obtained at the Borough Hall.
